The new season of English Premier League (EPL) will start its kick off soon and so do I.

Andy has invited me to join his Fantasy Football league through Yahoo! Fantasy Football games which I’ll play the role as a manager and buy my squad to compete against each other members in the league. As the start, I was given with team value of 100 credit and with this 100 credit, I must be smart in using it to built the squad. I had my team build yesterday and it’s obviously without much top player in it as they would cost a bomb in term of credit value. Just take a look on the top 5 players along with its credit value: -

1. Cristiano Ronaldo [27.09]
2. Steven Gerard [18.10]
3. Wayne Rooney [17.52]
4. Frank Lampard [17.27]
5. Robin van Persie [16.51]

With Cristiano Ronaldo credit value, I would have already built my backline with 3 defenders and a goalkeepers yet I still have 0.08 credit change. So don’t you think the credit value is simply ridiculous?

Anyway, I’ve choose to adopt 3-5-2 formation because I believe in the EPL, the top point earner always goes to the midfield players. Talking about point, it’s pretty much depend on the actual performance of the player in real life as well as some luck, so I am banking most of my credit to deposit on those player I felt would most likely to score or assist in the game (scoring and assisting in goal will earn more point).

My Fantasy Football Team

Anyway, I do not have my own league as I’m joining Andy’s league which he called it Penisland. Ops, don’t break it wrongly. It’s suppose to be broken in ‘Pen’ + ‘Island’ and not ‘Penis’ + ‘Land’. I would also by default compete against all the team in the world for a league of my favourite team which is Man Utd! Go go Red Devils
